Colonial House Museum
The traditional architecture—featuring rammed-earth courtyards, wooden and tile roofs, brick and timber floors, and cobblestone patios—is characteristic of this significant mansion from Pamplona’s early urban development. It was designated as such by ordinance in 1960 and inaugurated by the then-president, Alberto Lleras Camargo.
Today, the museum displays collections of archaeology, paleontology, ethnography, anthropology, colonial art, weapons, and military equipment from the independence era and the Thousand Days' War, as well as 19th- and 20th-century objects that belonged to prominent figures from the region.
