Ramírez Villamizar Museum of Modern Art
This utopian 16th-century structure, designated a national monument in 1975, pays tribute to the Pamplona-born master Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar, who, through his unconventional approach, pioneered artistic constructivism in the country.
The building that houses the painter's expressionist works was restored in 1990, preserving the unique character of its beautiful architecture, as seen in the stone columns, arched partitions, and the central courtyard garden typical of that era. In addition to the works of this spiritual artist, the venue also features pieces by various other Colombian and international artists.
