Ramirez Villamizar Museum of Modern Art
The utopian structure of the XVI century, declared a national monument in 1975, mentions the Pamplona master Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar, who from his anarchic knowledge was the driving force of artistic constructivism in the country.
The building that keeps the expressionism of the painter was restored in 1990 and thus rescued the uniqueness of its beautiful architecture denoted in the stone columns, arches in the divisions and the garden as the center of the house, typical of that time. In addition to the works of that spiritual artist, this scenario keeps representations of diverse exponents of Colombian and foreign art.
