This year ANATO's slogan is "Colombia open to the world", celebrating the 43rd version of the tourism showcase, which is held every year in the city of Bogota, Colombia.

WHAT IS THE ANATO TOURISM SHOWCASE?

The Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies is an event held every year at the International Business and Exhibition Center Corferias, Bogota Colombia. This is the most important Colombian tourism event, as well as the most relevant in Latin America, with the attendance of about 30 thousand professionals, being in this way a great window to position itself before the trade.

It is a fair where, in addition, the latest developments in the trade and tourism industry are presented, providing a perfect scenario for cities and entities wishing to grow in the sector.

This is a great opportunity taking into account that during this date all tourism sectors congregate: hotel and airline representatives, tours, operators, among others. The main objective is to promote the work of travel agents in the country and those who project themselves to tourism outside the country with investment projects, this is the right place to promote meetings within the same event.

Approximately one thousand exhibitors participate in each edition of the Anato Tourism Showcase, presenting their offers in Colombia's 32 departments and more than 20 participating countries. It is an event that generates about 16 thousand appointments with a previous agenda.

Pamplona, as well as the department of Norte de Santander, shows the best of the regional repertoire, showing its culture and gastronomy, and clearly talking about the beautiful places that tourists can visit, visiting its 40 municipalities and more than 80 villages.

Thus, approximately one thousand exhibitors participate in each edition of the Anato Tourism Showcase, presenting their offers to the 32 departments of Colombia and more than 20 participating countries. According to figures provided by the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies, this event generates about 16 thousand appointments with a previous agenda.

EDITION 2024

For this edition, the ANATO organization has informed that Puerto Rico is the Guest of Honor, where it expects to consolidate commercial and tourism business, giving greater potential to the Colombian scenarios, taking into account the space seeks to offer services to tourism entrepreneurs in the segments of vacation and tourism and meetings of the main markets of the world.

According to the metrics delivered through the official website of the event, the 2023 Tourism Showcase had a concentration of 38 thousand people spread over the three days it was held, representing an increase of 40% over the 24 thousand professionals of 2022. In addition, ANATO's appointment scheduling tool registered more than 14 thousand meetings.

ANATO Colombia continues to be a key player in the promotion and development of tourism in Colombia. With an innovative vision and a focus on sustainability, the association seeks to continue strengthening the tourism industry to ensure equitable economic growth and responsible and diversified tourism in the country.
